Storz & Bickel Mighty
Why we love it: Storz & Bickel is known for producing top-quality dry herb vaporizer products, and their Mighty vaporizer is one of the best on the market. The device allows for onboard manual temperature control to customize user experience, and the vibration notifications indicate when the device has reached its set temperature. The Mighty’s convection heating system bakes herb evenly without stirring, and a liquid pads accessory set (sold separately) makes it compatible with waxes and oils. Although it is a portable device, a dual lithium-ion battery pack gives the Mighty an extended battery life that lasts through multiple sessions.
Utillian 721
Why we love it: Utillian’s upgraded 721 vaporizer is the perfect mid-range vaporizer that performs in line with devices more than double the cost. The vaporizer works with dry herb in addition to waxes and oils, and uses convection to maintain an even heating throughout the chamber. Using simple single-button operation, the Utillian 721 offers eight preset heat settings, and eight boost settings. With 90 minutes of continuous battery use, the device holds a charge throughout multiple sessions.
PAX 2
Why we love it: The PAX 2 still holds its place as one of the best dry herb vaporizers available. Though not compatible with concentrates like the PAX 3, the PAX 2’s four preset temperature settings and conduction heating system are more than enough for dry herb users. The device operates using a 2600mAh battery with single-button operation and motion- and lip-sensing technologies. One of its most revered features, the PAX 2 includes what they call “Party Mode”—a collection of games and LED light displays that can be discovered through different movements of the device.
Arizer Air II
Why we love it: An updated version of the Arizer Air, the Arizer Air II includes more features and functionality. It maintains its convection-conduction hybrid heating system, glass herb bowl and stem, and removable 18650 battery, but with even more battery life than the original. The biggest improvement of the Air II is the manual temperature control with OLED screen, which lets the user control the device’s heating more precisely.
Prohibited 5th Degree
Why we love it: Prohibited’s 5th Degree vaporizer makes maintaining your herbal vaporizer a breeze. With removable pods for both herb and concentrates, replacing the pod takes your device back to an out-of-the-box condition. The Prohibited 5th Degree carries an intelligent battery that recognizes the different resistances of each cartridge, and charges via a magnetic connection at the base of the device.
